SVP, Sales & Business Development
West Jackson has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He joined PrimeAI to create and lead the sales and business development efforts for this innovative organization that is enabling companies to harness the disruptive power of Artificial Intelligence through AIaaS.
West started his career in the US Air Force managing classified satellite programs that provided strategic communications to all military branches. Following his military service, West worked globally for a semi-conductor firm, International Rectifier, culminating in a 3-year role as Country Manager for Russia. He was recruited by Cisco to lead one of their largest financial services customer accounts, where he spent 8 years.
From there, he acquired, led and served on the Board of his own data center company, seeing it through a successful acquisition to the largest disaster protection company in the US, SunGuard. Since then, he has held senior sales roles in companies such as Siemens and NetApp, as well as 3 different earlier stage companies from startup through acquisition (Zerto, Maxta and CTERA). He also built the business development team for a Toronto-based VC firm who specializes in bringing the most advanced, security technology companies in Israel to market in North America.
West holds a BSEE from the US Air Force Academy, an MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business, and a Harvard Business School Executive Certification for Corporate Board Governance. He has 3 college-age children and serves as an Ambassador for the Global PTS Foundation. A native of Raleigh, NC, and a resident of South Florida, West has also lived in Colorado, Los Angeles, Moscow and Charlotte.
