Rich Kennedy

Rich is a Principal Data Scientist at PrimeAI with a technical background in machine learning and data fusion. Prior to joining PrimeAI, he worked as a data scientist at Amazon Web Services deploying cloud-based AI/ML solutions for Fortune 500 companies, and as a research scientist at BAE Systems FAST Labs, where he led algorithm development for target recognition software deployed on UAVs.

Rich obtained a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he completed his dissertation research in experimental hypersonic aerodynamics at NASA Langley and the U.S. Air Force Research Lab. In addition, he holds a M.S. in Aeronautics from Caltech, a M.S. in Fluid Mechanics from École Polytechnique (Paris), and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo, SUNY.
